Shamanic Healing
Shamanic healing is an ancient practice, used in many cultures in different parts of the world, that can promote well-being and emotional health, and relieve physical pain.
Shamanic healing can work in person or remotely, either on its own or, for the most powerful results, in conjunction with bodywork. You can ask me to address specific problems, or to fortify and strengthen your overall well-being.
How I Work with Clients:
When you request shamanic healing, I will journey to the Upper or Lower Worlds to get help for you from my compassionate helping spirits. They will either loan me some healing power or come back with me to do the work themselves, depending on what they decide will be most effective for you. Then the power will be channeled into you to promote your healing and well-being.
In addition to shamanic healing, I also offer extractions, soul retrievals, Power Animal retrievals, and divination work.
When I am doing shamanic work with an in-person client, I often incorporate chakra balancing, Reiki, and moving stagnant energy around as part of the process, with the consent of the client.
In-person work is ideal, but we can also work remotely. For remote work, most clients prefer to talk by phone or Zoom before I begin the healing work. An initial consultation typically takes about half an hour. However, this is not absolutely necessary. Consultation can be done by email or text if needed. After the consultation is complete, I will journey for you.
Please note that if you are requesting healing for another person, you must have explicit approval from them for me to do the work, before I begin.

Shamanic healing work is $125/hour.
Harner Shamanic Counseling™ (HSC)
I also offer Harner Shamanic Counseling™ (HSC), which is a once-per-week, 5-week protocol designed to help anyone, regardless of their beliefs and background, use shamanic tools to get information about problems or questions they are facing. No prior experience with shamanic journeying is expected or required.
Over the 5 weeks, I will teach you, the client, how to journey using a non-religious, non-ceremonial, easily accessible method, so that you will be empowered to work independently for yourself.
HSC is $200 per 2-hour session.
I recommend that Shamanic Counseling clients schedule the 5 sessions as a block, to give yourself the opportunity to fully work the process and focus on yourself. You can book all 5 sessions for $950 and save 5%.

- Audio recording device
- A music-playing device with headphones/earphones, plus 2 drumming tracks available on shamanism.org
- Mindfold or similar eye covering (Mindfolds are available on Amazon.com or shamanism.org)
- Personal journal and pen(s)

What I Bring:
I have been studying shamanic healing techniques for a number of years and have completed the flagship Three-Year Program of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and the 5-day Harner Shamanic Counseling (HSC) training. I have a number of compassionate helping spirits, both human-form teachers and power animals, with whom I have established a good working relationship.
Why “Ginkgo Fire”?
I call my shamanic practice “Ginkgo Fire” to honor the Japanese and shamanic traditions that have been so central to my own spiritual development. To me, the image of “Ginkgo Fire” represents yin and yang, earth and spirit. The ginkgo leaf is ordinary reality, the world, the earth. The fire is non-ordinary reality, spirit, and healing. Both exist side-by-side, within each other.
